I just want to let you kow about our upcoming radio session with David Durant from Brooklands FM (North-West Surrey’s local radio station) on Monday 1st March 2010. We will be live on air from 8pm ‘til 10pm and we’ll be choosing the playlist, chatting about our “story so far” and playing a few acoustic tracks live for your enjoyment.

Hey folks,
Just got in, so I thought I’d let you in on some cool stuff I’ve been doing this evening. Its pretty late so this is a fairly train-of-thought blog thing… Wayne’s working with a singer/songwriter called PJ Riley (www.myspace.com/pjrileymusic), and they’re getting to the point of adding backing vocals and asked me to help out… Spent the afternoon at PJ’s awesome home studio/ex nightclub bar place, ripping my hair out and thinking of (hopefully) awesome vocal lines to help bring the song (After Rain) along. It was pretty cool as its not a style of music I’m really used too, but could well help with the EBC harmony-generator with the new material.

Just wanted to spread the word about what we’re up to at the mo. As the title suggests we’re in the process of putting together some new material, and I’m getting stuck on lyrics. If anyone has a good idea of a subject to write a song about, get in touch! I’m sure I’ll find something soon though - I almost have a chorus:
The party’s over, but the night’s still young,
…?
So come on closer, come on closer, come on closer,
…?
It sounds WAY better then it looks on the page… But will sound even better with two more lines of words.
In other news, Lightspeed Champion’s new album “Life is Sweet! Nice To Meet You” is totally AWESOME!!! Check it out on Spotify or something.

Wow, things are moving quickly at the moment…we have our two new singles up on a pre-release stint at our myspace and nearly ready for digital release on amazon. spotify, itunes etc….
We also have our gig in King’s Cross tonight (Thurs 21st) and to top it all off, our latest Balcony TV recording of Oh No Kate is release today at BalconyTV (click on the link to go directly to the vid).

We have uploaded our new singles Oh No Kate and Friday Night (Can’t Come Quick Enough) to myspace for a limited pre-release listen. The tracks will come down on Sunday in anticipation of a release date which is TBC at the moment. NEW DATE ADDED
We have just agreed to play alongside The Money at The Maze in Nottingham on Friday 22nd Jan. The EBC tourbus will be heading northwards after a night of amazingness (and possibly drunkenness) at The Monto Water Rats on Thursday 21st with Sinead And The Dawnbreakers.
